Bridesmaid

:yawn: Hey guyz. *yawn* Part 2 of the comic should be up tomorrow. I'd put it up tonight but I'm in no shape to pull an all-nighter. On the bright side, it's looking good in its half-inked state. I guess :iconundressinglomli: now understands why I told him to be patient...

In case you haven't heard, my best friend has asked me to be her bridesmaid at her wedding, in a dress. I was worried that the groom might have a problem with that, but it turns out it was his idea in the first place. She says I'm her closest friend, and me in a tux just wouldn't work, so there you go. And it really is going to happen, barring relationship accidents (but not for a year and a bit.)

Trouble is, I'm not just a gimmick bridesmaid, I'm a REAL bridesmaid, with everything that entails...bridal showers, dress fittings, organizing stuff, endless emotional support...it's wonderful that she unhesitatingly thinks of me as her female BFF, (truly, truly wonderful) but what have I gotten myself into? :ohnoes:

Oh well. It's not a problem I can really complain about :D I'm guessing I just made some of you extremely jealous...sorry. Rest assured, the problems still outweigh the bright spots in my life, but this ~ :sun:

I guess what is most touching about it is that it was completely unsolicited. I didn't ask for it or mention it, they just offered. The couple in question is very special to me, the girl did my makeup in that picture on my page in the blue dress ^^ and we bonded in a super-cool, girly platonic way ^__^
